A radiant floor heating system uses water or electricity to heat a home or driveway. Radiant heat, however, travels in all directions as heat migrates toward cold. Tempshield® Reflective Insulation radiant barrier reflects heat up toward the structure, preventing the radiant heat from trying to warm the ground below the floor or slab.
Tempshield® Reflective Insulation radiant barrier also serves as a vapor barrier, preventing moisture from migrating through the slab into the basement or crawlspace.
